Design for selling – security systems
Our experience of designing a series of security showrooms for Banham Locks has given us an in depth understanding of the unique requirements of this specialist retail sector. Banham customers may be looking for anything from a spare set of door keys to a fireproof safe or even a complete electronic home security system.
The showroom plays a key role in building customer confidence and understanding of the products and services on offer, many of which can be technically complex. By creating interactive demonstration zones for each of the core security services we help sales staff to present the Banham offer effectively.
The showroom design scheme enables customers to experience demonstrations in a welcoming and professional environment, reassured that they are putting their property into safe hands.
The Banham project also involved reworking the company logo and finding novel ways to present the business and it’s security products and services. We focused on developing a look and feel that reflected the modern technology behind the company without compromising the value of its long established brand heritage.
The result conveys a consistent message across all of Banham’s customer communications. They are the experts who have the know how to ‘protect your property’.
The shop has done so well and we have had so much positive feedback. Our turnover has significantly increased and we think the refurb is obviously a huge factor.
